AAA Cooper tracking: how to track by PRO or BOL
Track an AAA Cooper Transportation shipment by PRO or BOL number. See where to find each on your paperwork. Ventura, CA 93001. Call (805) 984-4114.
To track an AAA Cooper Transportation shipment, enter the PRO number on the AAA Cooper tracking page, and if you do not have a PRO, use the BOL number on the same page.
AAA Cooper Transportation is based in Dothan, Alabama, and its SCAC is AACT.
How to track by PRO or BOL
- Find the PRO number on the bill of lading or the pickup receipt.
- If you do not have a PRO, find the BOL number on that same paperwork.
- Enter the number on the official AAA Cooper tracking page.
- Read the latest scan and the terminal location, not only the status word.
- Open a trace if there is no new scan for more than two business days, or if the delivery date has passed.
Where to find your PRO / BOL
- Bill of lading (BOL). Look for a field labeled PRO or PRO number. The BOL number is the shipper document number on the same form.
- Pickup receipt. The driver leaves this at collection. It usually repeats the PRO.
- Booking email. If the shipment was tendered electronically, the confirmation lists the PRO and the BOL.
- TMS. Your transportation system stores both numbers on the shipment record.
If the freight is inbound and someone else booked it, you will not have the PRO. The shipper does. Ask them for it.

PRO number vs BOL number
A PRO number is the carrier tracking number and resolves to one shipment. A BOL number is your document reference. It works when it was keyed the same way at booking. If it was entered with a prefix or a different format than the copy you hold, the lookup returns nothing. That usually means a data mismatch, not lost freight. When a BOL search comes back empty, get the PRO before you escalate.
A shipper or PO reference works only if that reference was recorded on the shipment at tender. A PRO from another carrier will not track here. Use the Estes tracking guide only for an Estes shipment, and the TForce or Forward Air guides only for those carriers.
What AAA Cooper tracking statuses mean
These are generic LTL scan stages. AAA Cooper may word them differently on its own page. The status is the last recorded handoff. It is not a live map pin.
- Picked up. The driver has the freight and is taking it to the origin terminal.
- In transit. It is moving between terminals. Silence for a day on a longer lane is normal.
- At destination terminal. It has reached the delivery city and is waiting for a local route.
- Out for delivery. It is on a truck today.
- Delivered. Note the signature name and time. If you need proof, request the signed delivery receipt.
- Exception or attempted. The stop did not complete. Common blocks are a closed dock, a limited-access location, a missing appointment, or a refusal. Appointment, limited-access, and liftgate service can add accessorial charges. Open a trace instead of refreshing the page.
What to do when AAA Cooper tracking has not updated
Give it two business days. Freight scans at terminal handoffs, so a quiet stretch mid-lane is expected. If nothing has scanned for longer than that, or the delivery date has passed, open a trace.
- Confirm the PRO. One wrong digit is the usual cause of a dead lookup.
- Check whether the consignee needs an appointment or is limited access. Those stops sit until delivery is booked, and the extra service can show up as an accessorial charge.
- Open a trace with the PRO, pickup date, origin and destination ZIPs, and the piece and weight count.
- Ask for the destination terminal once the trace is open. That dock knows whether the freight is there.
- Log the trace reference and the date you opened it.
How to request an AAA Cooper pickup
Request a pickup on the AAA Cooper website, through your TMS, or by phone. You need the origin address, ready time, dock close time, piece count, weight, and freight class.
Stage the freight before the driver arrives, and give a ready window the dock can actually hold.

Frequently asked questions
Enter the PRO number on the official AAA Cooper Transportation tracking page. If you do not have a PRO, enter the BOL number instead. The PRO is the carrier tracking number and is the better lookup.
A PRO number is the carrier tracking number for one shipment. A BOL number is the bill of lading reference on your paperwork. Use the PRO when you have it. Use the BOL when the shipper sent the document but not the PRO.
Check the bill of lading, the pickup receipt, the booking email, and the shipment record in your TMS. If the freight is inbound, ask the shipper for the PRO.
A gap of a day or two between terminal scans is normal for LTL freight. If there is no new scan for more than two business days, or the delivery date has passed, open a trace with the PRO number.
Yes, if that purchase order reference was recorded when the shipment was booked. If the lookup misses, ask the shipper for the PRO number.
