Carrier usage analysis

We will perform an analysis by service type, weight and zone (inbound & outbound) using your historical volumes and package characteristics.

There are several options on reducing your parcel insurance expense.

Carrier agreement

We negotiate pricing and terms and conditions of Agreement with UPS, FedEx, DHL, Postal Consolidators, LTL and other regional carriers based on the above analyses, current market driven pricing trends and PMG insider knowledge and negotiation expertise in small package freight.

Automated guaranteed service tracking, manifest errors and claim filing program

Independent industry sources have determined that 3-5% (and more for some carriers) of guaranteed shipments are delivered late. The vast majority of these late delivery refunds go unclaimed ($7 million daily) as it is simply too difficult and time consuming for shippers to track and verify which packages qualify. Guaranteed service tracking can potentially save 1 to 6+% off your weekly freight bill.

Weekly invoice auditing

Perform a comprehensive audit of your carrier’s weekly invoices to identify savings in areas such as: discount and T&C’s compliance; late fee waivers; address corrections; freight collect chargebacks; 3rd party shipping; adjustments; shipping charge corrections; service failure refunds and void credits.

Inbound freight program

Incorporate negotiated contract terms to pay for inbound freight instead of “best way” prepay and add terms that typically add income to the vendors.
